Story

Jennifer Jiggetts is our Founder and Chief Creative Officer. She started making jewelry when she was 8-years-old and never stopped. From 2012-2014, Jiggetts served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho in southern Africa teaching English and Life Skills to elementary school students. The problem she noticed was the girls’ education was not on par with that of the boys’ because they had more domestic chores. Jiggetts and her community started a jewelry business called the Tsoaing (Swy-ing) Primary School Craft Project and raised enough money to install a water pump. As a result, her girls’ test scores increased, they were able to stay in school, and the business was recognized by the Obamas through their Let Girls Learn initiative. Jiggetts now sources seshoeshoe (seh-shway-shway) beads from her beloved Basotho community. In 2025, Jiggetts moved operations to Lesotho to work closely with her artisans and navigate local supply chains and country tariffs. Her ultimate mission is to create joyful moments for her customers and to embolden marginalized communities through entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

Jennifer Jiggetts Jewelry meticulously handcrafts each piece from our design studio in Africa. We offer free shipping on all domestic orders, which are fulfilled by our friends at Crawford Creatives in the U.S. Domestic orders ship via USPS Priority or First Class Mail, Monday through Saturday, and typically arrive within one to five business days, unless otherwise noted.
International orders generally take a month or longer, depending on customs processing and the destination country. Please be aware that we are currently navigating supply chain and tariff considerations in Africa and will notify you promptly if any issues arise with your order.
Jennifer Jiggetts Jewelry is not responsible for lost items, customs delays, or international duties/fees applied to orders.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Jennifer Jiggetts Jewelry, we strive to provide you with the highest level of satisfaction and do not anticipate the need for returns. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to accept returns for unopened items in their original packaging.
Customers must initiate a return within 48 hours of receiving their order by emailing jenniferjiggettsjewelry@gmail.com. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which is required for all returns. Packages sent without an RMA number will not be processed. Once we receive your return, we will notify you.
